Unstable Matter, Kinetic Sculpture 2013
This bizarre sculpture installation is the work of the Finnish duo, Grönlund-Nisunen (Tommi Grönlund and Petteri Nisunen). Unstable Matter is this magnetized table of small ball bearings, moving and crashing in unison. This is absolutely beautiful, it’s was definitely difficult to focus on the ball itself, the sound alone, just sends you into this relaxing transe. The crashing balls mimics the sounds of an ocean. Be sure to check out the amazing duo’s work at their site, here. Also, please be sure to watch this sculpture over at Vimeo.
